maybe need a South category? if there are even enough members down here. I know Austin is big into the WVO and bio fuels, thus lots of interest anytime a pup shows up for sale.

just from trollin' around on the site there are actually quite a few people in TX on here...... we should try to get together a Southern Meet somewhere here in TX...... I could put together some stuff for us in Dallas or we could look into doing it in Austin.... i think we should try and start getting one together for after the 1st of the year.....

I gotta small camp on the river in Bandera if ya wanna do a "jamboree" type thing...tents, fire, bbq, beer, fish, swim, 4x4 in the river bottom areas

i'm in we can get my 2wd stuck maybe i can convince the wifey to let me bust out the passport..... it's all stock but that'd never stop me from getting it dirty...... she will though i am serious though we really should try and get something together it'd be fun..... i am really down for the "jamboree" style meet up camping, good food, good company, cheap beer, good times...... you betcha!!!!

been there drove the old farm truck we had when i lived in kansas out onto one of the sand bars on the river...... yeah wasn't so solid where i decided to leave it while we were fishing......... took a tractor a couple long tow chains and alot of cursing to get it out.....

so i'm thinking spring sometime??? i'm going to start spreading the word around hard about getting a meeting going down here....

I'll have to check ahead on my calander. Some weekends I gotta go do national guard training. Probably late spring might be good. Or really any time spring to fall. is good weather. I just bought the property so I'm not familiar with seasonal rain patterns in the hill country yet. I need to see about posting some pics of the camp. Plus I need time to get my Pup's engine un-frozen or swap a spare motor that I have. It would be in poor taste to show at a Pup rally driving another diesel

Jack, I was telling barnhart.isuzu(Chad) that we had a South (Texas) meet in the works, but I didn't find the thread in the Pup meet section. Perhaps we're waiting for more feedback? I'd really like some of those guys to be able to get together sometime.
