I'd LOVE to have an aerial shot of this!

back in the 80's our van club hosted a truck-inn at Yogi Bear campground outside Orlando, at the end of the weekend we had everyone that attended convoy from the site to Disney World rite down interstate 4 i don't recall how many trucks but the convoy was over a mile long and we set(if i remember correctly) a Guiness book record for the longest convoy( well over 1000 trucks)
it was crazy and an awesome site especially when i saw the chopper footage on the news that evening

mike

you guys have fun and I WILL BE THERE NEXT TIME for sure, just not in the stars this time

Jellystone Park...wasn't that on Apopka-Vineland Road? Back in the 70's, I drove that route quite often to visit a someone who lived in Apopka.

I visited Jerry about 3 months ago when I went to Georga for Lexus training. I think everybody will enjoy seeing that big old barn with all of those hard to find Isuzu parts inside.
Have fun guys,
Mike.

Mike, there are three of us convoying together from NC and passing through Charlotte. (can't remember where you live  ) You can ride with any of us 3. My wife is having 2nd thoughts about coming along. Come on!!! let's go!!
Andy

Thanks anyway puttnpup, but I have to finish working on a side job at the house so my customer can ride again. Besides I would be so jealous that my truck wasn't part of the convoy. I really do appreciate your offer to pick me up. Thats a great feeling. Remember that I only live around the corner from you. We should be able to get together at some point and have lunch. I live in Graham, you know beside Burlington. Hope you guys have fun.

That would be great! I'll PM you with my # in case you don't have it already. I know I have yours. Our plan right now is to meet at Bill's Truck Stop on I-85 in NC (bet you know where it is) at about 5:30-6:00am Saturday. We'll touch base with you to see if we can meet up.

That's right!!! Have you seen the Ryan kid from Mebane around anywhere? He's not been online in a while. Had a yellow LUV, I think. You still have time to change your mind. You remember the sweet looking turbo truck at the Charlotte meet....he's gonna convoy with us along with a friend in another Pup of his. You can make it happen!!

That's fine, Shawn. At the latest, if we leave BIlls' Truck Stop at 6:00, then that should put us in Spartanburg at about 8:00 depending on where we meet. Jack do you want me to pick you up a Cheeseburger-a-Plenty from the Beacon on my way through?

My wife and I are just about ready to head out the door on our way to meet Dave Cunningham and another member from Kernersville, NC at Bill's Truck Stop off I-85. We will join up with 86TurboPup (Shawn) and another friend coming along at the TA Truck Stop in Spartanburg, SC
We'll try to take some pictures and post them later...

Little Ocmulgee State Park is a great place ... on 441 and easy to get to from HWY 16 or HWY 280 or 341. I love going there ... would like to go to a meet and see other p'ups out there.
