Central US meet?

So far, just a seed. Maybe it will grow.

Fort Smith is probably close to 2 hours from Russelville.

OK, truck should be on the road by Thursday at the latest. I am thinking about a meet date, maybe June 1st? Give everyone time to make arrangements. So far I am still leaning towards Fort Smith. I haven't heard much more about the show in Neosho so I'm guessing that's second option. How does all this sound to you guys?

June 1st was just the first date that came to mind that was easy. What would be good for you?

Thats probably gonna be the best chance I have. Every month after that has at least 2 if not 3 long distance shows.

There is a show in Rogers, AR on May 17th. Its a pretty decent show, nothing spectacular I mean its a local show. I should be there. Um, if we wait until october there is one in Bentonville. Um, there is a big one in Ft Smith. On July 14th and 15th. It gets some magazine coverage, Im gonna try for that one. Just some options.

My truck is FINALLY moving! I drove it home tonight and loved every minute of it, just rolled down the window and listened to it roar down old highway 71! Now all I have to do is replace my windshield... (hail and a tree branch)

87lowpup, sounds like you have done some homework. got some good ideas.

Jared, I just had the windshield replaced on my 85. Along with a new gasket, it set me back $150. It had a little leak, which they supposedly fixed with sealant. Haven't checked it again for leaks though.
Glad you're rollin' again!

after i get my toyota axles under my truck hopfully within a month or so i want to go to some trails in the MO,AR,OK some of my friends with toyotas might want to go to trails. and also bring our fourwheelers this might be somthing i do next year if they would want so if you dont hate a few toyotas ruining your show we could do somthin so if you know of any good off road trails in those areas i know of some. I would likely pull my truck down there cause that is to much highway for my pup especially if i have even lower gears than i do now it could make it and i trust it would but i would rather cruise at 80 than 60 all the way there. Just a thought it might never happen but. Word.

Oh yeah our trucks are ugly so if you want show trucks this isnt one. Its for off road so i dont car about body work but my truck is rust free besides the inside of the bed and is somewhat straight in some spots.

What is this off road you speak of? lol. Most off road my truck sees is grass or gravel at a show.
