There's been some interest in having one in SC, but it is still merely an idea at this point.

I have put the idea out there as far as putting something together....... Was thinking s.carolina area as we have quite a few members around...... I mentioned helping plan .... I don't have a location to host..... That said , I talk to jlemonds and he said he would host down at his place in Dacula Georgia ...... Only he mentioned doing it around October to November when the weather is a little cooler ......I think this a great idea to have it at Jerry's place on account of his Isuzu parts warehouse:)..... Thoughts?

I could probably make that one (in October).

October might work for me as well, as long as it's on the weekend. I've already schedule all my vacation days for this year. Next year I'll get an additional week, so I can be more flexible. If I had to choose, I'd go with the 1st part of Oct.

that sounds great and to be able to pick up parts that you might need would probably bring in a few more people i would absolutely make that one

well, Gerald is sorta working on a location in the Columbia, SC area. He came to the Atlanta meet at Jerry's a few years ago but couldn't stay long, given his wife is bed-ridden. Perhaps we could focus on one meet in October, and another in the Spring sometime.

I'd come to either SC or GA if the meet was in October. Lets do it!

Just an update: We're working on a place in SC near Columbia. We will begin a new topic and merge parts of this thread, if not all of it to the new one. Right now it's kinda buried under the Memphis Meet topic. csik.sc, Gerald has some guys at his church that do BBQ chickens. I know it's a little early in the planning, but I know you'd mentioned something about the food. We can put a few options on the table (no pun intended) like going out to eat, or cooking on site, or catering. I like the breakfast thing we did in Memphis for the early-comers. Actually, I liked it all. Jack & Co. did such a great job w/ the planning. Everything was great!

You do know that underneath this dialogue box, there's an option to check to receive email notifications when someone else posts on the thread. I use this option often when I want to be sure I don't miss something on a given thread.

Alrighty, we have a new subforum for this meet. As Andy said, we've moved this topic into the new subforum.

Seems like we often have a problem with permissions when I create a new subforum. I'm hoping someone who's not a moderator will post here, so we can check the permissions.
