Hello this is my 87 campo "KB"
Its an old mining truck from northeren mines in Sweden now i've owned it since summer and im primarily joining this forum for help aswell as finding people who like these isuzu's.
I've owned approximately 15 Volvos before this mostly 240 / 740 / 940's.
Current problem i have is where to find parts? Autodoc has plenty of things but not everything, i cannot for the life of me find a Speedometer cable.
"Isuzu parts centre" seems to have most of everything but they only ship across the US and not to Europe...

Good ole # 138! She looks in good shape. The mines must have been easy on her.

Welcome! Try rockauto.com for parts; their website says they ship to Europe. Don't know if they convert to the Krona./R

The "universal" one might work.
However i will try to find locally first since there is a Isuzu dealership / shop near where i live.
In a lucky case i wont need it at all.
I once passed "mot" or "besiktning" here with a volvo 242 without a speedometer just because the guy checking the car out liked 240's...

Yes definetly she worked in iron mines.
Through owners history i can find that she was owned by two diffrent finnish mining companies of which are both based near Kiruna and Luleå here in Sweden.
Im glad to see a forum with such great interest for these trucks!
She was then owned for approximately 19 years by an old man who seemingly used the truck for simple yardwork.
I was given "fika" and coffee when i met the man selling the truck as he was approaching his 70's and very glad to see the thing get a new owner.
I have also worked myself in a similair ironmine more south in Sweden and i am currently studying mountain engineering to hopefully get a meaningfull job in the industry...
My greatest dream is pulling up in this beaty of a veteran to a new job and having all the old-heads in awe of the thing. x)

Did you ever find a speedo cable? I'll keep an eye out for one. It's tough sourcing parts for those there, I imagine. Kind of like when I try to find E-codes for my kids' 240s, which are so easy there you probably trip over old ones!
