I'll forward this to someone by PM that is familiar with the S10 diesel. I seem to remember that the water pumps are different, but not 100% sure.

The GM 2.2 diesel water pumps are GM specific, they are totally different from the Isuzu 2.2 pumps. Not sure who or where you can find rebuilds or new but will be $$, good luck & report back what you find. Thx

Same pump as what? If it's indeed the same as the S10, you will be a superhero here with the S10 owners.

Please post the link.

Thanks.

Its been about a year sense i have installed one on a customer's vehicle. The marine version of Perkin's 404c water pump part #998-456 come to mind but not 100% sure if this is the one I have used many times before or not. You will need to install a 45 deg hose fitting into the pump housing to accommodate the heater bypass. This same engine has many Industrial, Marine and Stationary use variants branded Daihatsu, Kawasaki, Caterpillar and Mitsubishi. Look at these models if the one I recommended doesn't fit.
