When you break a blend door

Post by genericusername »

So a 10-24 socket head cap screw with a flat careful ground in it will fit in the blend door linkage

I used a rotary tool with a burr to start a pilot hole in the broken blend door arm. Drilled and tapped it. Worked way better than the super glue

I only thought about taking pictures after I got done, but hopefully that is clear enough. I actually broke 2 and aside from needing to buy a right angle attachment to drill one (steering column was in the way) I was able to do with most everything in place.
