My darling on the parking space in center of our capital city

Anyway, today i took my darling for another well deserved "date". He sure deserved some time together after being so dependable workhorse for so long against all the odds.
We explored surroundings, climbed over water damaged off-roads (from recent, short, rare, but still, tropic thunder) and spend some time on the beach...

And you know what? During our exploration we found another fan who is not giving up on his worktruck!
Of course i left him a contact behind the (rusted, unused) windshield wiper.

That one seems to have earned its keep.

And the "ISUZU" on the tailgate is clearly not original -- the owner still wants people to know what it is, long after the factory logo is gone!

I didn't wanted to disturb, he appeared busy . But i drive around often if i see him regularly i will sure talk with him. We have many troopers but not many isuzu Pups here.

No, i knew i would not be able to break it up and in the meantime appeared some higher priority fixes i need to do first anyway. For example tires.

You see also really old Troopers, like 1st gen with the round headlights and / or the C223 diesel?

Since I bought mine in January here in Austria, I saw only one old diesel Trooper advertised for sale; pretty much only a wreckage for parts. No Pups here; as they seem not to have been officially imported - like first gen Troopers.

Yes, there are lot of troopers. For sale and on the road. But pups are rare too. I think on my island where every second car is a hilux there are 5 total pups. I believe most are diesels, at least all for sale are. Petrol cars usually have hard times here because of the sand dust
