Oh that is cool! Man that would be nice to have an armrest. That's why I liked the pickup bench seat, comes with a nice armrest.

Heading back to Pull-A-Part today. They have a 1st generation Rodeo. And someone on the Isuzu P'up Facebook group recommended Mazda MPV seats. P'up has two MPVs, so those may be an option.

Do those mazda come with a center console? Arm rest?
Finalman and I put Toyota Camry bucket seats in his LUV but it was quite a hassle.

No console, but armrests. I liked the design, but I grabbed the ones from the Rodeo. Pics later!

The 1st gen Rodeo seats required some modifications to fit well. I had to drill out the rivets and remove the front "feet" and replace them with custom brackets. My truck had no inboard seat rails, but Mark (arrowmntdiesel) sent me a pair, and they saved me a ton of work.

I used 1-1/8 x 16 steel. It took me 3 prototypes to get the height, length, and angles right. The seat sits level (side to side). It feels like it may be about 1/2 left of center (in relation to the steering wheel), but I'd rather love with that than do all the work required to move it further inboard.

I'll update this post with pics when I get a chance.

Brackets are done, and the seats are temporarily installed. They're coming back out for cleaning (or reupholstering if needed), as well as to clean the cab and install sound deadening material. I set the new console in place just to confirm the fit.

Brackets are 1/8 x 1 1/8 steel.
