Jerry Lemond news

Post by puttputtinpup »

Several members here have voiced concerns about Jerry Lemond recently. I took a few minutes this morning and called to see how he was doing.

Jerry wanted me to convey to everyone that he is very sorry he hasn't been able to stay on top of emails, & orders lately due to his health. Jerry has been dealing with prostate cancer for the last 3 years. Combined with the fact he is diabetic, he has been physically very weak. He does have several orders that he plans to ship very soon. He is getting a bit better.

Please pray for our dear friend, Jerry. If you have his address, drop him an encouraging card. Jerry undertands that many of you all need your trucks as daily drivers and use them in your business and desperately need parts to keep them going. Bear with him.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello Folks,
I've been out of circulation lately and just got back on tonight. I had been talking back and forth with Jerry , then things got quiet. Contacted a few folks but hadn't heard anything back about him.
Thank you Andy. Now I know why.
I'm glad for Jerry that my worst fears weren't realized, but I'm saddened to hear about his ongoing battle. I'll be thinking about him a bit more.
Glad to see you there Paul. A good idea from you as usual. I too will send our Friend a card.
Thank you again Andy for the post. Much obliged.

Andy,
Thanks for taking time to check in on him and updating everyone. Along with getting up with him at Uwharrie, I'll call to just chat and pick his mind every so often (not as often as I should). He's been weak for a while, unable to get down to his shop as much as he'd like. But he is always upbeat and optimistic in our conversations.
