To attach photos, just look for the "Upload attachment" section just below the box you type in (you have to be composing a message). Then click "Browse" to find the photo you want to upload. You can add comments when selecting it, or add them later. Once it's uploaded, you can click the "Inline" button to merge it in with text above and below it.
I would rather have the photos attached here than to use a 3rd-party site like PhotoBucket. To use them, we have to link to the photos on their site. Webmasters often call that "file leeching" because it drains their bandwidth for someone else's site--and bypasses any advertising revenue that they would normally get. For this reason, some sites block this type of linking. I don't know if PhotoBucket will do this, but I can't say they won't. On the other hand, if they're attached to your post, they'll be here as long as the site is here.
Even if you DO already have the photos on another site, it's not a bad idea to post them here. Why? (1) they will usually load faster, and (2) Because if the remote site goes down, your post will just have a blank spot in it, with no picture.
