Hello World

This is for "Introductions". Tell us about YOUR P'up, and a little about yourself (if you like). This is also the place for updates, tall tales, etc. about YOUR P'up. No technical questions here, please.

Isuzu vehicle(s): 1990 manual Pickup

Hello World

Post by thackebr »

Hi everyone,

I'm excited to join this forum because I recently got my hands on a 1990 Isuzu pickup with a manual transmission. I'm trying to do the maintenance and repairs myself, but I’ve found it challenging to track down the right information. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community and learning from all of you as I work on keeping my pickup in great shape!

Welcome to the site. We've had a few members from Idaho -- Boise, Nampa, and other parts. Sometimes I wonder if it's all the same truck, just going from owner to owner.

If you haven't joined already, you should visit (and join) the PlanetIsuzoo.com forum. Your truck has more in common with the Rodeo and Amigo of the same "generation", and those two vehicles are really popular there. The P'up was available with a 2.3L 4ZD1 for 1986 and 1987, but the 2.6L 4ZE1 didn't come along until later.
