I'm guessing Federal as some things look very different. Don't know early history of mine but recent was Carolinas. This identifies switch on fender well ( fast idle). Don't see approx 1/4" hose of bottom of air intake in support. I will take pic today. If you have Federal diagram that would be awesome. Thanks for the help.

I don't think that the turbo diesel was sold in Calif; therefore probably not Calif turbo diagram. ??

Ok here's a better pic of one on bottom of air intake viewed from passenger front. It's just beyond the sparkplug in hose. Thanks

Ok after studying Isuzu Specialties diagrams it appears someone did an EGR delete? I don't see an EGR valve or vacuum switch. It appears to me that's where that last hose would have gone. Thanks for the help.

Only the California version had EGR.

I can only really help you with the 1) and 2) as my intake is partially broken (filter also removed for you to see better). I have a C223-T on the Pup to be clearTaryan93 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 6:30 pm Hey newbie with 1986 c223 turbo diesel (trooper) and non connected vacuum lines. 1)
2)
The "cylinder" is the FAST IDLE SWITCH. It should be present on both Federal AND California models.
3)
It routes behind the pulleys on the front of the engine block attached by a plastic piece to a larger hose running across the engine block.

The part that line goes to is called the "Fast Idle Actuator" on the Fuel pump!
