Post your meet photos and stories here
Re: Post your meet photos and stories here
Great pics Andy. Great meeting you and others. I just joined the site because the henpecked husband DOES NOT own The Grail. I am taking Wally's advice and adding some weather stripping on the topper door to inhibit rubbing a precious spot on the tailgate. Carl is looking for some 15" wheels that would look great on The Grail. If anyone has some let us know what you have and what you want...

Warhorse, welcome to the forum! Look for some nice aluminum wheels off an Amigo or Trooper! Carl can purchased Steve's 82 LUV so he can have his very own truck!

Andy, I didn't get the names, for my records, of the people that won the gift certificates that I gave away Saturday.. do you happen to recall who they were. There was one for a 50% off for four fuel injectors rebuild. 2 certificates for 50% off on a timing belt and 2 certificates for 50% off on a alternator oil line.. There was some much going on in such a short period of time that I just forgot to get the names of the winners.

No, I didn't Gerald. Sorry. If Steve was videotaping it, he might have that info.

Sprocket and I had a super awesome time. The parts from nucleus and andy and jlemond, learning how to adjust valve clearence from bobbyr, seeing warhorse's "brand new" truck, meeting jlemond, 1badluv's real bad luv that i'm still super jealose of, and talking about my favorite topic: my truck. Thanks to everyone for the fellowship and knowledge.
Thanks to the mission for their hospitaility and food and everything!
Lookin forward to the next one!

I'm glad you and your dad came, Ricky. Many who said would come, didn't. We had a lot of food left over.

I was curious if you guys still had the 83 Grail truck?beagler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2013 7:47 pm We just got home from the pup meet, and this meeting was definitely a meeting of similar minds. Sitting beside Carl when he's on the pup site, I usually "hear" about who is looking for what part, who has a new family pup member. It was great to put names with faces. Thanks to Gerald and his family for their hospitality--the cakes, and the peanut butter cake! We appreciate all the work Gerald, Andy, and others put in. The glow plug demonstration was impressive. Bobby R made his way from the back to get a closer look. Generous gifts were doled out at the drawing, and a few people traded off, as each had something the other needed. Jlemond gave a perfect presentation on injectors--it's clear he is a master. The members we met at the meet were helpful and interesting, just like they are on the site. Andy took lots of pics and now there's an isuzupup.com sticker on the 83 Grail. Great sharing of pup love and the learning about the diverse talents of a diverse bunch of folks. One thing for sure, lots of pup love everywhere. Jack, wish we could have met you, but sending your family positive thoughts.
