Does anyone know if the outer CV shaft, knuckle are identical on R and L side' to the 85 model?
I have a spare driver side CV that I want to use on passenger side?

Re: 4x4 CV shafts
I'm just an enthusiast on a computer, but I looked at the online parts link under "parts," and I see that the p/n's for the CV shaft assemblies, both R and L, are the same (9091304140). That tells me they're interchangeable. However, the R and L knuckle arms have different p/n's, telling me that those items are not interchangeable. Check for yourself; your model is under "KA." /R

I know what a knuckle is. That includes a ball and retainer carriage assembly. However, I am unfamiliar with the term (ARM)unless you are referirng to the (shaft).
Maybe I should have been more specific to my needs. I want to know if these components.... Knuckle, ball, retainer,
carriage are same parts on both sides so I can interchange the internal components. They should be same parts.
