Yea thanks again Andy you don't know how much this means to me. I got the fuel tank in now just got to run some hoses and while the bed is off have my friend put the glasspack on it that he has been saving for me then putt the bed back on and wash it lol I don't know yet for sure if he can put the glasspack on it because he has no gas for his welder but he said they were bringing him more gas tomorrow. Andy do you know of a place i can camp out there? i plan on leaving Friday afternoon after i go to the doc's and then camp out again sat night then leave Sunday. I guess i will be sleeping in the cab of my truck because a friend that said i could use the tent this weekend 2weeks ago now says i can't get it.

Give Dave Cunningham or Britt (Crazyth SP?) a shout to see if you can catch a ride with him. We'd still like to have you come!!

Hopefully the thermostat housing isn't cracked. I had one once where the gasket just leaked a little where the housing bolted against the head.
A can of black pepper should fix that! I hate you can't make it.

I'm in Concord, and I found Alan's phone number but not Andy's. We had an uneventful trip (that's a GOOD thing!), and arrived at about 9:00 PM local time. We left Memphis late because my son broke a bracket on his braces, and we had to see the orthodontist before leaving town. So we got out of Memphis at about 8:30 AM (Central Time). It was about 10.5 hours of driving, and an hour of stops along the way.

Got terrible mileage (just a shade under 30 mpg), but we were holding 70-75 mph most of the way. According to Ms. Garmin, my speedometer reads about 2-3 mph high at 70 mph. At 35 mph, it's dead-on. I did not check the odometer against the GPS, but we'll probably do that tomorrow.

I pulled in with about 199,980 on the odometer, so I'm expecting to hit the big 200k tomorrow.

Oh, and I NEVER in my wildest dreams thought I'd put $60 worth of fuel in the tank at one fill-up, but that happened today.
