During the final "Push" of getting the truck finished and ready for a trip, I had moved the camp trailer down to the window shop so that I could stay in town to work late on the truck. Both Teresa and my daughter came into town and stayed with me in the trailer. What wonderful support! I was able to take a final exam in my electronics class a week early which allowed for a good deal of time that final week before departure. I took a three week break from singing on the worship team at church in an attempt to stay on schedule for the trip. All of this action showed where my "Priorities" have been over the last few weeks.....! Back to the question......are they in the right place?

I know that was a long intoduction to this new post, but it just seemed like I needed to say it. To the pictures and the trip.....!
This is Monday the 19th of June and it is 4pm. About 10 hours later than when I wanted to depart but at least the same day. Fueling up in Medford, Or.
This will be my bed for the next few days and the blanket was made by my oldest daughter for Fathers day and given to me yesterday.
Still in Oregon headed east over the mountains
In Utah now and the landscape has changed alot. Spent the first night high in the mountains and had ice on my windshield the next morning. This was the only issue I had with the truck the entire trip and it was very difficult to start that morning. New glow plugs were installed at Tenn. thanks to a call ahead to Jerry!

This would be heading out into the Wyoming country and the landscape didn't change to much during that whole trek through the state. Alot of Nebraska was traveled at night due to wanting to be in Iowa on Thursday.
Here I am at the home of Bob Gay in Sloan, Iowa. He has 1500 acres of corn and soy beans that they farm each year and I have met him for the first time today. His brother lives in Rogue River, Or and is a member here on the site. (CoyotePup) Jerry was at the NW pup meet in 08 at our home and drives a very nice Turbo/D spacecab 4x4. For the past several years (10+) they have been swapping parts and trucks from rusty mid-west bodies to good Oregon bodies. I hear Bob has a stash of Pup Parts and I'm here to see for myself.
This is Bob and his 4x4 long bed diesel with a trooper turbo engine in it. The pictures of what I found will be in the next post. I know I can't make one big post, so i will break it up into smaller ones.
