These engines will sometimes blow a head gasket. Coolant can leak outside the engine and be visible or leak into the cylinder and be burned. Are you having to add coolant? Many moons ago I rescued this Isuzu diesel and 5 speed while it was literally being loaded to go to the shredder. It's been a paperweight in my shop since then. This is now the first leg of the trip from Virginia to Georgia to its new home with Isuzu Nut.
