If you hit and knocked the wire off, you probably damaged sensor too. As cheap as they are, get a new one and swap it out.

Re: Fluid creep
I think there's a vent somewhere on the transmission also. It's plastic, if memory serves me right. It could be clogged and causing internal pressure

Re: 15amp Regulator fuse keeps blowing
I am trying to track down the reason this fuse keeps blowing. I don't know the the location of the regulator or how it works, but I do know that when its fuse is blown, the IP does not work. If I remember correctly, I had this same issue many years ago. I hit a bump in a parking lot and the truck j...

The brake calipers and rotors are probably different from 83 to 84. The master cyl is also different but you can probably make it work

Re: Fuel shut off solenoid
On this injection pump there's only 1 wire to the fuel solenoid. If you spot a device on the injection pump with 2 wires, it might be a tach sensor.

Re: IP stops suddenly
I found the problem. The 15amp Regulator fuse in the fuse box was blown. Why it was blown, I don't know and that may prove to be another problem. But with a new 15amp fuse, it fired right up. I once had an 85 pup that began to blow that fuse when i pushed the clutch pedal in. The wiring harness und...

Re: Fuel shut off solenoid
Where is this relative to the IP? On the c223 diesel, it screws into the top of the injection pump. When energized, it opens up the flow of fuel from the filter. De-energized, a little spring pushes a rod down shutting off the fuel. There should be, if I remember correctly, 1 wire coming off the fu...

Another possibility is that the timing belt broke, unless you've already without a doubt ruled that out.

Re: New pup owner
It seems like I recall that the gasket for an older S10 would work but would need the length trimmed and seamed together with maybe a butyl rubber adhesive or something.

Re: New pup owner
Thank you, I just emailed him, hopefully I'll get some good news If you do get a new line from jerry, he provides new washer seals for the banjo fittings. Copper or aluminum. If you find a shop that'll make a hose for you using your existing banjo fittings, locate some new washers and replace the o...
