Re: intro
Shanon, welcome to the site. And to Alaska next year. We live on Kodiak during the summers, Missouri in the winter. Two Isuzus in my driveway here in Kodiak. We've moved the boat with the Trooper, but not with the pup. I'm not sure how much the boat weighs though. (trying to get that big thing out o...

Alaska Trooper
Hi All-- We left Missouri a few weeks ago, headed to CA to visit son's family there and take care of a few chores for him while he's in Iraq. Here is a picture of our gray/blue Trooper parked with son's black Trooper in the driveway in CA. From there, we headed "North to Alaska", the Troop...

Oil Pressure sending unit --what's this?
What is this thing attached to my oil pressure sending unit? Wire vibrated loose but was wired directly to clip that hooks on to front of unit. I've already asked some mechanics and the manager of the auto parts store, but they are supplying only guesses as to what it is. I know I can get an answer ...

Re: Adding lumbar support and more cushion to worn saggy sea
Mine are bucket seats, but I used the pool-noodle-fix on the driver side seat so far. It passed the backside test very nicely! But then I got inspired and decided I would try to stitch some new fabric on top of the remains of the original upholstery. Ugh. Now I see why it costs so much to have these...

Re: Adding lumbar support and more cushion to worn saggy sea
Nate, that's wonderful. Thank you so much for posting this how-to. I'm sorry that my question caused you to have to take your seat apart and put it back together again!! But I really do appreciate it. That's exactly what I am going to do for my seats.

Re: GM 4.3 Diesel motor bad/good???
We've had two of them. We like them alot! Easy to work on, easy to get parts for. In fact, I have a cream puff one out in my garage with only 39,000 actual miles on it in a very nice oldsmobile cierra cutlass, 1983. You should get 34-38 mpg, and no problem with power....wow, this thread has been aro...
