Pup to trooper diesel swap questions.
So my dads 84 pup 4x4 rusted out to the point that there's nothing not one crossmember holding the cab to the frame. It's no longer safe to drive, to say the least. The engine and transmission run great. A friend is offering an 87 trooper with the 2.6L to do a swap into. Does the 2.2L match up with ...

Re: Glow plugs wont cylce
There should be a heavy wire that is held onto the glow buss bar area with a 10mm head bolt. That wire supplies the 12v to the glow plugs. The block is the ground. Re: Glow plugs wont cylce
The controller will cycle the glow plugs off prematurely if one or more plugs are burned out. Corroded connections at the fusible links, heavy connectors to the glow system leading to the relays, connectors are the drop down resistor (square alum box), all these are places where bad connections can...

When I turn the key on I can here the relay kick on and right off again and the glow plugs dont cycle at all. I held a voltmeter to the glowplugs and they arent even getting power to ...

Did you ever get this fully set up? Im wanting to do it as well, but would like to see what you did first.
