does anyone have experience with either ball joint?
why is the rare parts 2x the price of duralast?

Duralast is AutoZone's house brand & hence cheaper in price, the other is some unspecified brand, probably little difference in quality.
If you don't have to have them right away rockauto.com has Moog K9551s for $30ea, other brands for as little as $12, all plus shipping. A 5% discount code is available to help offset some of the shipping.
I used Moog joints on my Trooper, they were cheaper from rockauto than the local parts stores house brands.
For a real bargain there's these https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Front-Lower- ... rk:27:pf:0

Moog makes great stuff. One of the better companies. If you can get them off of Rock Auto it'll be angood deal. Also try amazon.
