Anyone know which years and models share the same chamshaft with a 1992 isuzu pickup

According to Rock Auto, the camshaft part # for your make/year is shared from 1986-95. Also, the factory part numbers from the link on this forum (under "Parts") shows the camshaft part # for a 4ZD1 as shared from 1987-93. They appear to go into the 4ZE1 application after 1993. Caveat: there may be a difference in grind/profile if it is -or was- a California motor. As far as other models (returning to the factory part numbers link), guess you'd have to do some homework by bouncing that OE cam part number against other Isuzu motor applications.

All 2.3 4ZD1/C1 & 2.6 4ZE1 cams are essentially the same & interchangeable throughout the production years, which were 1986 through about 1998, & in every vehicle model these engines were offered in.
There were some very minor profile differences in specific vehicle models but not enough to significantly effect power.
