Trying to get a lower bed

Postby mmdz33 » Sat Dec 02, 2017 7:18 am

ok so i recently threw some 2 inch lowering blocks on the back and did a torsion lowering on the front end and i love it. The bed has about 5 fingers of wheel gap and my front only has 3, and i want to know if i should just switch out the 2" for 3" blocks, was also thinking of taking out helper leaf instead.i dont really overload truck too often, just want that nice dropped look. i can deal with some bumps but dont wanna sacrifice control or handling. Any advice or suggestions? tia

pull a leaf for another 2" drop. leave the thick one on the bottom. you can also have them de-arched by any company that makes leaf springs for vehicles. if you do blocks, make sure you get the angled ones. also has shims to offset the rear back 3/8" if your driveshaft is binding in the transmission (axle moves forward with angled blacks). you wont sacrifice handling being lowered, you'll increase it. ive been lowering Isuzus since 1991....
if i build it, it will scrape......or catch on fire
