Tracy, it might be sacrilege, but do you have another grill badge like off the original p'ups? I never cared for a big word on my grill, I've always wanted the isuzu emblem.

I should be getting there around 10 or so. Bringing that bench seat, also a drivers side door, a grill, and some miscellaneous interior parts. All for the mid-era trucks like mine.

If I can find the place!

sorry i missed the meet guys, i was planning on coming, but encountered an unforseen circumstance. someone rear ended the driver's side of my pup on friday while it was parked with the emergency flashers on... and i have been dealing with the aftermath of that for the last few days. he tried to run from the scene, as he was underage and unliscenced, but i got his plate number and had to deal with it through the police department.

on a related note... if anyone in the nw has a 1981 4wd diesel pup rear bumper (w/ mounts) and a drivers side rear light lens/housing shoot me a pm. thanks!

sorry to hear about your misfortune. You missed a really good time. Mark and Paul will post the pictures soon and a surprise guest showed up other than Paul . I will let the pictures do the talking. I just want to thank David( trooper T) for putting on a great pup meet and the use of the grange hall. That worked out very well. I also want to thank davids mom for all the hard work she put into the awesome food, and davids dad for all his hard work which allowed david to hang out with the group. Putting on a meet is not easy. I really want to thank all the guys that had to travel so far. I have been fortunate not to travel very far for the 2 meets that I have been to. But I will pay now because I have to travel to Tennessee for the national meet  but really looking forward to it.

Sounds like a big hassle. If you don't find a bumper, the Ranger bumpers look pretty good too. I'm sure you know Trooper tail lights are the same too.

Paul has the majority of the pictures. At first I thought he was from the local news crew with that fancy camera  I think he said he would be home Tuesday.

Dave and his parents did a fantastic job putting this together and the Grange Hall was perfect. Pauls IP knowledge and cutaway pump was a hit for sure.

Great meeting all these fellow frugal friends and checking out each others rigs. After arriving I was checking out Pauls engine and I stated that I wouldn't be opening my hood. Pauls engine compartment was so clean! Someone said too late for that and pointed to my truck and the boys had popped the hood and were checking out my dirty engine. No respect.

Garys truck was phenominal. Bro Tracy did the paint and really did a nice job.

A great time had by all thanks to Dave and his Mom and Dad. Jerry

I hope someone got a video of Larry [quick not slow] poledancing on the flagpole, that was worth driving 266 mi rntp for!

And running 70-75mph I still got 35mpg. I'm sure I would have gotten 40-42 at 55-60. But that extra 20 hp with the Turbo really goes to your head. hehehe

It was a very nice setting for the meet. When I find the time I will have to wonder back roads South of Hwy 30. I want to thank Dave and his family for hosting meet and the great food. Special thanks to Dave’s Mom and I hope she gets well soon. I also want to thank Mark for the coffee and the breakfast. Paul gave another great presentation on pumps. The modifications that Paul has done to truck is totally amazing. It was great to see everyone and their pup.

Until the real pics show up, here's a few to tide you over. I've got to run out at the moment, or I'd name everybody. Someone feel free to ID for me!

No. I looked into hats again, but just couldn't swing the cost. Everything has gone up for sure.

I have a list of members and people that showed up and will be getting with Paul to get that posted with his pictures. All together we had 14 Pup's, 3 Troopers, 2 Isuzu Pickups and 2 S-10 diesels. Both pickups were gas and one parts Pup and one trooper were gas, the rest were all diesel. 4 turbos diesels were present. 3 veggie set-ups. Oh yeh, and Phil(flatbedphil) came with his VW caddy diesel. I don't have a head count yet.

I had a great time with all the people that showed up and there trucks, also like others have said, a big hat's off to David and his family and friends that came together to put this on. David's mom had just come out of surgery, but yet managed to bake for all of us prior to going in. Friends of their family came down to help out on the Saturday evening barbeque. Family is awsome when they stick together!!

A special Thanks to Larry (quicknotslow) for making a special effort to come all the way out and share in this great weekend. I hope you enjoyed a couple days with Uncle Donnie!
