Dieselsuzu Intro.... "Hi"

Postby Dieselsuzu » Thu Oct 19, 2017 10:46 am

Hi -
I am a retired marine engineer living in Washington State. Here are a few pictures of the '86 turbodiesel that I rebuilt from two beat up Troopers. I upgraded the Trooper by installing running gear onto a 1990 Trooper frame to benefit from later version axles and brakes. Planned to run it on biodiesel but found it easier and it ran better on straight diesel. I used it as a daily driver for years, but lately it is more of a 'dog to the beach' ... 'run around town'...'snowy weather beast' type of Trooper.

Over the years, I have read a lot of posts on turbo diesels and got a lot of helpful information!

Thanks,
*Dieselsuzu

Wow, that’s some really impressive work! Thanks for finally emerging after SEVEN years of silent lurking! I’m not sure, but you may have set a record. ;)

Beautiful work, should last forever and then go to a museum.
