Greatings from canada

Postby 88formula » Sun Oct 15, 2017 3:48 pm

New owner of an Isuzu Pickup, and looking for information..

It's a 91 "rodeo" pickup.... not sure if it's considered a pup, but this may still be a good place for info I'm looking for.
It was imported to Canada from Japan, unfortunately it's right hand drive, but I think I could live with that for 40MPG out of the 4JB1-T that it has. 5 spd 4×4 and a beautiful blue!! Btw, I'm looking for a new tail gate :p

Welcome! Not only did they withhold the 4J engines from us, we never got a chance to buy quad cabs. :(

Does that mean my truck is a real p'up? Just a Japanese cousin...

I have a set of repair manuals that came with it, they say TF series 1988~
So I know it's a TF.

Do you know if that is a factory hood scope? As ridiculous as that sounds, I had to ask.

Doesn't look like it. It's not even functional! There's no hole in the hood!

Ok, thanks. I put a 302 V8 in my 91 pickup. I am undecided on putting some type of small hood scoop on it.

I like It, but I want to flip it to face the windshield. The negative pressure would help draw more air through the rad.

I agree. I was wondering if it was a stock item because if it is I may try and find one.
