it will be my second Pup in 20 years... never thought I’d get around owning another but when I heard they were going to junkyard I jumped in and dragged them home..
been running B100 for 28 years in my Benz & Cummins. Haven’t put Bio in yet but soon. Any other B100 stories out there ? Thanks..

Tom,

I split your post into a new topic.

Nice rescue, and it looks like some good work. Where are you finding B100?

Using Biopro, used to produce from an old hot water heater.. my kids make soap with the by-product.

Good job! Doesn't bio fuel eat up the seals in the Pup inj pumps?

Not if you burn the fuel, by that I mean using a very small percentage of sulfuric acid in the process. And absolutely 100% always wash the fuel after extracting the glycerin with white vinegar. This neutralizes The potassium hydrate. If this process is done correctly I have not seen rubber erosion.

Tom, this is really fascinating. Our "Alternative Fuels" section used to have quite a bit of activity, but it's tapered off in recent years. Wish you'd been around then.
