New P’up owner.

Postby Kackman17 » Tue Dec 05, 2017 9:04 pm

Hey everyone, I’m Kelli. Just purchased my 92 P’up just in time for my birthday back in November. I work at Oreilly auto parts & one of my good customers gave me a great deal on it. He had just completed rebuilding the top half of the engine, but unfortunately it needs a crankshaft as well. Just waiting to get through Christmas and will be able to get my crank and get it on the road. Very excited to own one as I’ve wanted one since I was younger. I’m hoping I can get some great advice from everyone here on everything I would like to do with her. I have named her SuziQ. :D

Kelli,

Yep, welcome to the site. You may want to consider updating your vehicle info in your profile, to include the engine and transmission. It saves confusion whenever looking for tech advice or parts. And you've probably already learned that your employer doesn't carry everything you'll need for your truck. But were you aware that they list a Flux Capacitor in their online catalog? They used to list the Mr. Fusion upgrade, but it's gone now. Oh, that may be from before your time...

Ok, I went and put a few more details on my truck. Oh yeah, the flux capacitor was a big hit! We had folks calling for days asking about it.
