I'd love to go too! In fact, I asked Mary--she looked at me like I'd really lost it this time and said no. Work. She did say I could go, but itsa long way alone! Have a great time!

PS. Ed--LA isn't really that much outta your way--if you'd swing by with my wiring harness, and maybe the AC unit, you're welcome to stay overnight and we'll make you guys a nice dinner!

Tracy,

I had a great time at the meet and really enjoyed your home and hospitallity! Yes, they go by quick for sure and as much activities as you plan, the guys always stay busy just getting to know one another and talking Pups. Here are a few more pictures and I will attempt to name those therein.

From the garage looking out. Weather was typical Pacific NW. If you don't like it, wait a few minutes, it will change! LOL!

I just want to give a big thank you to all the guys for showing up at the meet. All our hard work paid off. Want to say thanks for the guys that took a day off to come see Ed. I want to say Thanks again to sootfart ,it was his huge desire to meet up with Ed that started this whole thing, but due to illness he couldn't come :( Also to wyliespup , he was snowed in , he lives near bend oregon and was going to come.Want to give a big shout out to mark for his help with my first time holding a meet. I think I either texted, pm'ed or called him every day last week for advice. like to say thanks to Gus( john gault) the newest member there for coming. He came all the way from the Oregon coast to attend the meet. this guy is a stud, he is one of those commercial fisherman like in the deadliest catch.I'm pretty sure he is a first time pup owner. Like to say thanks to pupfocuse for coming, wow what a nice pup. Its the blue one with the canopie, I pretty sure my newest long bed will be that color by summer . thanks to stevept wow what a smart dude, lots of good stuff I learned. Thanks to theeee famous trooper t/diesel. He almost got the yellow pup running, from the bees nest of pups. His cool compression tester determined it had low compression in 3 cylinders and none in the 4th. So fix one valve and new rings? I think. Thanks to troopers dad for coming, thanks for the tasty summer sausage ,veeeeery good.Veggie nate, How would I describe him to all you guys that have never had the pleasure of meeting him, lets see, I would say he is a cross between spicoli( Sean Penns character in fast times at ridgemont high) and Jesus. soooo cool like spicoli but humble like Jesus. He has the coolest pup in his pup, he brought his dog emmy. To see all that veggie stuff in his truck was amazing. He must have spent hours figuring all that out, and its so reliable too. He drove 4 hrs to get here.Last but not least Edwright and his wife Pam. I wonder if all east coast people are that awesome.Their courage is amazing, I wish I had the guts to take that kind of adventure. Mark is spot on about them. I am new member, I am just blown away by the kind of people that are involved in this forum. So when I really sit down and think about all the risks that ed and Pam took to take this adventure I realize it was no risk at all. Ed has been a member long enough that he new if there was a problem that any member of this forum, if called upon, would have come to there rescue, and that just sums up what this forum is all about, to fellowship and serve our brothers. Thank you all ,Luvcamas

I regret that I missed the meet-up. Would have been cool to meet you all and get some tips on the LUV I am still working on. Also, I recognize that grey 4x4 with the long lumber rack, it used to belong to a friend of mine in Salem! I look forward to making it to a future meet, and will have to keep a better eye on these dates.
Constantly working on : VW diesels, Peugeot 505TDs, and 1981 LUV diesel
