86 Turbo Diesel - swapped alternator - still low voltage

So with the alternator unplugged at the plug you are only seeing 12 volts?

theres something with that 5th fuse, i can get it to work intermittently but i was just messing with it and it blew 2 in a row as well. something is up with the wiring

thanks for the link to that wiring post - who has a link to that NPR alternator - i woulda bought that over this $175 anemic 40A stock one
