any mmets in az

If you're on the West Coast or close to it, please make sure your "Location" is filled out in your forum profile. Larry (quicknotslow) is hoping to send out PMs regarding plans for this.

No promises but Arizona's a lot easier for me than Washington. I can handle it anytime of year, but summer might be a little much for some, depending on where you had in mind. Spring or Fall would be nice.

AZ would be perfect for me. I'm right here in Phoenix. Would be nice to be able to meet and pick some brains in person!

I've been looking for an excuse to go to Arizona. I and many of my friends in the VW club are interested in 'Desert Diamonds', rust free air cooled cars and parts. Also new air cooled parts from the factory in Mexico. Shipping from there to here puts them out of range. Anyone out there have any contacts?

This is the perfect place to find V-Dub stuff. I know there are some specialty shops out here. Be worth the trip to make some contacts. I'll check with some people and get back to ya
