Meet Itenerary

Post by arrowmntdiesel »

Here is the schedule of events and of coarse it is subject to change at a moments notice!! :?

Friday Oct. 24th,

Early comers are welcome to set-up camp and settle in. Don't be surprized if you end up with a leaf rake in your hands though. :D

Saturday Oct 25th,

Saturday morning will be open visitation as people arrive.

11:00a... Seat belt retractor repair with Uncle Donnie and anyone else that has successfully repaired this very irritating issue with our trucks.

Lunch will be afterwards: BYO. There is a country market close by with a deli broaster and a short drive will take you through the covered bridge that our road is name after.

1:00p.... Jerry has sent a set of seals and nozzles for diesel injectors and Paul has volunteered to lead in a rebuild, pressure test and pressure set on them. This will be documented with pictures and posted to the site as a "How Too" Thanks Paul and Jerry.
Need someone to take notes and do the write up for the site!!!!!

3 ish to 5:00p.... Member to Member Tech questions on personal vehicles. ( If you have a mechanical issue or question on your vehicle, let's take a look at it and ask among ourselves to see if we can come up with a solution.

5:30 to 6:00... prepare for a potluck style dinner.

6:00p.... Dinner will be served! Meat to be provided by the host and will be barbequed on site. (Ribs, Burgers, Elk, Hotdogs.) I need a volunteer or two for the drinks.

7:30-????? ... Campfire circle W/ troop 84 boy scouts leading in the Pledge to our Flag. Short business meeting in reguards to IsuzuPup.com and prizes then roundtable introductions and I'm hoping for some good stories from our wives that will be present. Enjoy an evening of fellowship and stories.

Sunday Oct.26th,

8:00a.... At the campfire will be a special inspirational short message from one of our East coast members

8:30... The fire will be going and the griddle hot for cooking breakfast and if we are lucky, some left over meat!

9:00a....If still interested, some more "how too's" and fellowship until departing time.

OTHER ITEMS TO NOTE..

Please be sure to register when arriving at the meet. I am collecting some information to provide to Jack and also to share at the campfire.

Through out the day the fire will be going and a pot of coffee will be there for your pleasure. (Nothing like sharing a campfire and coffee to make one feel welcome in your camp!)

There will be hiking trails of discovery :?:  and the target area will be open for small caliber guns.

Kids are welcome and a trampoline is close by. The cub scouts have been working on my grandfather teepee for several weeks now and will be right down the driveway peeling poles. My daughters will be around with some baked goods practicing the capitalism that we try to teach them in today's socialisic leaning tendensies. OPP's was I suposed to say that?

Teresa will be around and will do her best to intertain the ladies that will brave this great adventure into PupLand!

The "Blue House" is already on site along with our own country form of relief?? Remember to lift the seat and return it to it's rightful position for the ladies.

If anyone does bring an ATV, there is riding, but no formal ride is set unless a need arises. Lot's of trails though.

So far as Matt has been following, the weather looks perfect and this time of year is very refreshing. Looking forward to meeting all that show up and being apart of this first ever Pacific Northwest Pup Meet!!

Thanks again,
Mark

I know that there are going to be members that show up???..... Those that have contacted either myself or Larry, so if you have not made a commitiment to come yet, Please let us know ASAP. I need to know how much meat to take out of the freezer to thaw. I can't do that on a moments notice.

There will be lots to do and see and I know it's a busy time of the year for us all, so give it your best shot and let's make this a great weekend!!! The weather is going to be perfect.
