West Coast Meet Weather...

Post by ThreeEyedBandit »

Here is the current NOAA forecast for the West Coast Meet.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 67.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Now this is the typical lovely weather we have been having, but it is Oregon and can change at will. So if you are camping should be great weather at night and even better during the day. Now that this has been said I feel that I have jinxed the us all, so be prepared for the rain .

Thanks Matt for posting that!

Our fall weather has been great and fire season is over now. The grass is beginning to green up abit again and I have been busy getting some clean up around the camp site. There is a barn for setting up tables if any one is bringing items for sale. I know Uncle Don has four grills and a fender and a hood ( all new items) I will have a couple windshields and rubbers and if anyone wants one installed while they are there, just let me know. I will have my installer there if so.

In the next day or so I will be posting a detailed itenerary for the weekend and also directions to the ranch. Please keep talking about this and letting us know who is coming.

Thanks again Matt.

You guys be sure to get a bunch of pictures. Get some group shots and tag them so we know who everybody is. Have fun, and be careful.

It's Sunday evening after the meet and I will make just a short post this evening with a few pics. Been a busy past few days and I know there is several members wanting photos to see. I'm going to let the other folks that were in attendence make a new tread and post their pictures to make an offical account of this weekend. I actually didn't end up with alot of pictures but I know alot were taken. So to the rest of the board, some are still traveling and I'm sure in the next few days the tread will really get active.

In my summary, I can't tell you how pleased I was with the turnout and the caliber of people that I met this weekend. More to come, but my pillow is calling loudly!

I count about 11 P'ups and a couple of Troopers. Are there any official numbers yet? Thanks for the pictures, Mark.

I think there were 12 P'ups and three Troopers total that made it to the event. Four of the P'ups in the pictures belonged to Mark. Flattie was over by the barn and worked as a bench for us to do our technical demos.

Oh, man, I wish I could have made it! :(
Looks like it was a lot of fun!

Scheduling just didn't work out on my end.
I was hoping to do a Sunday "day-trip;" but for or some reason, I thought Medford was closer to Portland... D'OH!
(7 hours one-way according to MapQuest ISN'T a "day-trip")
I need to get out more and learn to do some better planning...

After I told Marsha that Teresa cooked for all the guys, she said "I would have too, but we were at Jerry's place and I was a guest!! I couldn't just take over Mrs. Lemond's kitchen, could I? That's what Golden Coral is for!" Yeah right! excuses, excuses... She did pack me a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for the road trip.
I'd better stop while I'm ahead!! and yes, she can cook
