2017 west coast pup meet

Postby luvcamas » Thu Sep 08, 2016 1:35 am

was talking to Mark a couple days ago and we were thinking its time to have another west coast pup meet. Mark said he would be willing to have it at his place in Medford oregon. Like to get some input from the members. How about a WORLD MEET  :D. Just a thought. We had a national meet now its time to invite our friends from acrossed the pond. We were thinking of the summer of 2017 or 2018 would work too. I know Ipupgary, Steve pt and myself are really close to having our big projects done. If we can agree on 2017 that may light a fire under us to git ur done  Let me know, I think it would be a good time to energize things.

I'll follow this thread. I'd have to have a date nailed down by end of January so I can put in for the time off. That's when we bid for our vacation time.

1st question I will through up then regarding the date...... Does school schedules matter to anyone? (why I ask... May and very early June are the best months of the year here. Everything is still green and fire season has not started yet, so having a campfire is available.

Next best time of the year then would be early fall, say in Mid October which is when we had the last Pup meet here. Rain has occurred and fire restrictions have been lifted. Cool evenings and pleasant days. Road passes are still open in and out of the valley.

I'll host no problem!

School schedule probably won't matter to us. Late May / early June sounds good. But early fall sounds good, too.

Count me in!!!

We need plenty of time to plan and promote this meet. I should have 3 projects complete within the next 6 - 9 months.

I would be in favor of a late 2017 or 2018 meet. People need time to save the money and to plan for a long distance trip, Visa, etc.

If we can get a commitment from one international attendee, (not including Canada or Mexico) we should call it an International meet!

Make sure to include a swap meet to trade and sell parts. Some of the Salted Road states could use a new west coast Pup truck bed!

Where is the voting link Tracy?

I was wondering if anyone would object to 2018. If this is a world meet maybe 2018 would be better for some of the members to do some planning. If some of you from other countrys plan to come please post you feed back.
