I'd rather do 2017, but it's not my call.

I think 2017 would be better too. I could see people losing intrest if we make it too far out. I think one year should be plenty of time any member from far away to plan a trip. SO if we don't get anyone from across the pond we will have to print them darn international meet tee shirts :?

I think it is best to just set a date and the meet will happen. You are not going to make everyone happy. Have the meet in 2017. There will be more meets in the future for the people who are not ready or cannot attend. I have a number of pup projects and not enough time to get to them. It took me a year to find time to change the alternator on my 85 pup.

Hey Mark

I would be more than happy to get stuff coordinated and scheduled. I would definitely like to go around and ask some people on here (and ask people to volunteer of course) to do some demos/presentations once we have a date set. We have so many people who are knowledgable in electronics, fuel systems, alternative fuels, modifications… the list goes on! We, as you know, have so many great people here that we can all learn from.

As I said I am more than happy to help out in anyway possible. Just let me know what I can do. If you need to call me or anything my number is (425) 220-7044. And if personal email is easier for you it is bachlives0413@gmail.com

Blessings,

Halden

I'm stoked about it--at least, as stoked as someone could be for an event that doesn't even have a date set. ;) Until a date is set, I don't know if this will be a flying trip, or a P'up road trip.

Mark, if there's anything I can do, let me know.

Just let me know what I can do, Mark. I look forward to getting my pup spiffed up a bit this year and bringing it!

Just throwing it out there for the sake of dates. Mid June (specifically June 11-15 and the couple days on each side) is no bueno for me. I have a convention I am giving a recital for that I have to attend.

Ok, Halden, what happened to my post from this morning that you responded too? It's gone and your response is in it's place under my name and avitar???

That's weird?

Anyway.... I suspect the best thing to do is to get a date set. So... This week, the first week of October is the first rain we have had since June. I suspect that fire season will end here this weekend. This is very important not only for the ability to have a campfire, but just purely for fire danger during the middle of summer. That said, October is when we had the first meet and it was great. Other than that, April, May, first part of June. The exact weekend for me at this point doesn't matter.

Activities, or How Too's , Yes a few, but as we have learned from the past meets, we can't schedule to many. Most people just like to visit and look and tell/hear Pup stories. I would like to set up a short 4x4 run that could be very fun.

Just keep this tread moving guys, It will not be just me doing it.
Thanks

Mark

Mark,

I saw the post before it got deleted. I'll check the logs and find out what happened. I think there may be a way to recover deleted posts. I'll check into that.

How about the first weekend in June
I am hoping to have found time by then to combine two spacecabs into one to bring.

I hope the meet does not vanish like Mark's post

October is good. Nice and cool and maybe a little damp and a campfire. Can't beat that. Plenty of coffee.
