PNW meet north of Seattle?

Post by Halden »

I'm thinking it would be great to have another PNW meet (mainly because I miss my Isuzus being 750 miles from them) but perhaps this time further north. This would allow more of the Washington people to go since there are a lot of us in the Seattle area.

Does early August sound like a good time?

There's only two reasons to go the Skagit flats, Tulip Festival, May, or Shoot Snows in Oct-Dec.
Tulip festival is out because the wife might want to go.
Quit hunting acc't no more Labs.

This sounds like a good idea! ... The P'up meet, not so much the "entertainment"

If anything, it'll shave around 450 miles off of my trek from Canada!

Hopefully this picks up momentum in the coming months!

That reminds me of being forbidden to date a gal because her mother said the last date her daughter had mosquito bites on her butt to which I replied, "They don't make snowpants like they used too".

Those Norwegian mosquitoes don't know what "NO MEANS NO" means!!!! hehehehe Jerry

So far it seems like there will be one. I'd like to try and host it up further north. But I would only be able to do that if we could do it sometime in August.

I am in if it happens near the end of May or early June. Would love to bring up the turbo-diesel Amigo.
