I'd be willing to do that! I think we should really get the ball rolling on this here soon. I don't really know about many locations up here in the Seattle area to do a meet at, but hey that is just me. I mean there is a park here in Marysville that many people rent out for large events, but there is not really a place to park the trucks convenient and close, unless you all are a fan of church parking lot meets!

Guys,

The last weekend of Sept. is 3days away. I'm not good at impromptu events unless I'm just attending. Let's make in in October towards the last weekend and I can pull something together. The weather is already turning and we should have had rain by then, so a campfire can be started. As much as I would love to host it again (and I will), with all these Wa. state members, I think the turn out would be much better farther North. Just a thought.

keep it rolling forward.......

If anyone would like, I could see about maybe looking into finding a place farther up north, if you guys don't mind Marysville. But mainly what we have around here are church parking lots. I know of a few state parks by some lakes, I live only 20 minutes away from lake Goodwin. I'd have to really look into it though...

There was little response to this posting in the last month. I think we would get a larger turn out if we had the meet in the spring. We should pick the time and place now. A email should be sent out to NW members asking a preference of location and time or maybe it would be better to list three or four options.

For the meet to hapen the end of October we need a sign of more interest and we would have start moving a lot faster.

Jim, good point. October is a little soon. Is there a way to mass email all NW members?

Not without knowing who the list should include.

There is a list of NW members in this topic viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3878 I know it is not complete today but it could be used as a starting point. Someone may have list of the members who attended the last NW Meets.

If you'd like I could maybe send out an email to these people asking if they'd be interested and having them vote on this page's poll to see if we have enough interest?

So we were thinking about getting started on organizing a west coast meet here in the PNW. Are people still interested? I'd be willing to look for locations up here, but it'd be nice to see if anyone has ideas for demonstrations and stuff to maybe get the wheel turning and to get people excited!
