west coast so cal meet, how many will go?

If you're on the West Coast or close to it, please make sure your "Location" is filled out in your forum profile. Larry (quicknotslow) is hoping to send out PMs regarding plans for this.

Hey Mr. George!

It's a lot of work. We appreciate it. I have another location to take a look at called Debs' Regional Park. Never been there, but some friends went there the other day and and said it's really nice. One of the reviews indicated the parking lot was big, with bbq pits etc. If you're at all interested I can stop by and take a look around.

I noticed no comments on the Marina Del Rey site. Maybe my explanation was was too convaluted.
So here once again. What you will see are all the boats,at first, but to the left side of the boats is a horse shoe shaped beach. Tat is it.The cabannas and BBQs are on the south end just on the north side of Panama way.

I wouldn't mind a small car meet either. I'm from Riverside. I know there's a few places to go. Let me know if you guys are interested.

What about:

Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area‎
15501 Arrow Hwy
Irwindale, CA 91706-2002

There's plenty of parking, and grills for us to hang out. I know it may not be much, but I'm guessing the very few who won Pups will be willing to go. Let me know =)

I can probably set it up, in an announcement/ad type of thing.

That would be fine with me.

I posted a link about Debs park a while back, and my wife I went for a hike there the other day. It's off the Pasadena Parkway north of the 5. It's pretty nice, lots of tree, benches and bbqs. Great parking lot. Just an alternative, SF Dam works for me.

I have no idea what you mean by that. I'm willing to go.

Thanks,

I'm saying the area in Santa Fe Dam. It's basically a parking lot and you can see the backside of the dam. I was using my iTouch to type that. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'd like to check it out. And if you choose Palmdale, which is only 70 miles from the beach :) , Then I think my little Isuzu could make it.
Just kidding. I think it's highway days are over. But a parts swap. Now, that I'd love to be a part of.

I'm still in the process of buyin parts for my rebuild so hopefully it's not too soon. Took me awhile since I had to save for a wedding and Christmas at the sometime. But we're almost done. Sorry I couldn't follow through on the original plans but my engine died and well yea...

I'm not sure, but judging by the dates of the most recent posts, I think this meet may have fizzled out. You can plan to come to our Memphis meet, though!!
