Any meets around southern california coming up?

There are a lot of really nice parks around LA that have nice areas close to where the P'ups could hang out. BBQ at the beach is nice, but it would most likely be away from the trucks. Griffith Park at the 5 and 134 would be great, for instance. Or Legg Lake in El Monte.

I like the beach, too, but think it might detract from the purpose.

thats true. well i started another thread because i figured i would organize a meet but before i commit to it i wanna make sure people will go. i'll deffently take l.a. into consideration for a meeting spot. but if youre willing to go or contribute to the meet pm me or let me know on the other thread. thanks!

Yes it could detract,However it would keep the kids and women folks better entertained if they need that.
I know i used to do car shows and everyone seemed happy just sitting around and yakin,
Id get bored and have to move around. Maybe thats just me with my ADHD , HS and last but not least OCD

Now that I think about it,Venice beach may or may not have fire pits close to the parking.
And everyone would have to be there at opening time 6am or would never get a spot.
There are other large Lots up the beach next to the pier or even further north.
Near LAX ,Dockweiler RV park wold be a great beach site with full hookups and a fire pit at each space,but their rates have jumped from a low of $10 or $15 per 24 hr to about $60. Its a couple miles south of anything to do near Marina Del Rey.
