Slowly getting stuff done. It’s been a challenging having to make one off stuff and getting things to work. Currently working on getting driveshaft made. The conversion from small Isuzu u-joints to bigger Toyota joints caused some slow down. I also got rid of the carrier bearing to install a one piece drive shaft. To keep it low as low as possible I am doing a spring under step up. 5.29 gears have been installed and now I am waiting on flat cross over steering arms. Transmission is in and motor is ready to go. Power steering is all set up and ready to go. Under hood is pretty much done. Torn out dash and heater items to dynomat and add some 3/4 foam to quite it down in the cab. Still have set pinion angles and get front axle put back together. Slowly but surely.

Wow this is a slow project. Been waiting on custom parts.
-Rear driveshaft completed and installed. Used a yoke from a Chevy to accommodate larger ujoints. Cut out carrier bearing and installed one piece driveshaft.
-Currently having a heater core reworked for the truck. Got rid of the plastic heater core for an all metal one from an 81.
-Currently working on swapping crankcase/oil pan for a Turbo 4x4 one so it clears the front diff and for a turbo later on.
-Still waiting on custom flat steering arms to be made. Open 5.29 gears installed in front. Still have to rebuild axle with vented rotors and ungraded locking hubs.
-Dash and steering wheel has been switched out. The firewall has been completely sound proofed and 3/4 foam added. High idle override has been installed and a mini tach wired.
-Large Power steering cooler was installed.
-Rear axle completely rebuild with 5.29 gears and a spool.
-Fuel filter relocated to beside fuel tank.

Pictures to follow.

Little more work done this weekend. Just trying to figure out how I want it all to fit together. Turbo is a GT1548.

This thing is going to be amazing when done. You should consider doing this to my P'up for some more practice when done with this one

Thanks! That would be fun but the biggest factor is time......

GT1548 turbo. Intercooler is off a 1985 SAAB 900. For anyone doing this getting the turbo parts to align up is a pain. Lots of taking it on and off the truck to get everything to line up perfectly and fit right. Plumbing everything is a whole another issue.
