Yes, you can, but do you know how much boost are you running? If you are running <7psi you're safe, if you are planning to raise your boost then an intercooler is a must, you can decide whether to mount it on top of the engine which I think was the 2.5 stock location, or at the front.
Honda passport/Isuzu rodeo 95 with a c223 in it. Running 15 psi of boost with a Garrett gt1749. Straighpiped and intercooled.

Okay thanks, the turbine on my engine is the stock factory made but I only get 76 Hp.
My friend has a 2.5 diesel and it has same 76 hp,why is that.
I was thinking of putting a turbine from a 2.5 dti version of my car, this one https://www.auto-data.net/en/?f=showCar&car_id=26180

Maybe you're not running enough boost, I don't think replacing the turbine is needed, install a boost gauge so you know how much boost you're running and then you can raise it and install an intercooler, it should give you more power.

It would help if you’d tell us what engine you have.

I'm sure the stock turbine and compressor wheel are more than capable of holding 10+ psi of boost, but first install a boost gauge so you can work up from there.

According to wikipedia.org (sometimes unreliable, I know), there were several variants of this engine, depending on what country you're in.

But if you're not getting the power you'd expect, I'd begin by ruling out any mechanical or tuning issues. I would not begin to consider modifications to an engine that has performance issues. Troubleshoot -- THEN modify.

You did well by creating a new topic for this question: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=25035&p=159353#p159353
Hopefully, all replies will go there, rather than here.
