metal tube from passenger firewall

While replacing fuel lines this metal tube sheared off the passenger side of the firewall - it must have been hanging by a thread. An air conditioning drain?

Yes it looks similar to the one I have coming from the firewall only mine has more of a curve to it. I also notice on yours some rubber hose at one end?.. this makes me consider suggesting that if you now run your A/C for any length of time you may get condensation (or whatever) leaking inside if not corrected.

But then what do I know. LoL
