It looks like my transmission is starting to say goodbye , when releasing the gas pedal in 2nd or 3rd gear, I can hear a weird noise coming from it, it sounds like a bad bearing but it's not a constant noise, it's more like a rythmic sound, could this noise be made by a bad drive shaft support bearing? I haven't crawled under my truck, but I'm expecting for a bad tranny . Can these transmission be rebuilt successfully? Or am I just looking for another one? I've read I can use one from a gasser and just swap the bell housing. I need to get my truck on the road as quick as possible. It's a msg-5 tranny.
Honda passport/Isuzu rodeo 95 with a c223 in it. Running 15 psi of boost with a Garrett gt1749. Straighpiped and intercooled.
