Fuel tank cleaning and POR15
I used to restore old hondas and I would use por15 to seal the tank after using muratic acid to dissolve the rust. I am in a bush town in Alaska and sourcing a fuel tank to replace the one on my new to me 1986 pickup with a 1.9L wasn't going to happen. So went full monty by dumping a gallon of muratic acid in the tank for a FULL 24 hours. Came out great. Even fixed the sending unit. I wish I would have taken pics of the tank before I started but it was as bad as the sending unit. Enjoy the pictures!!
