Fuel level float

Postby Jaustin73a » Tue Aug 13, 2019 6:35 am

My fuel gauge is being dumb and working when it feels like it ( and not for very long) was gonna see about replacing the float. Also the gas light isn’t coming on, needle is just not working.

Anyone know if it can even be done or how much trouble it is?

Most parts stores don’t even carry one for the truck so does anyone know where I could get one?

You might have an intermittent connection. You might want to jiggle the harness and check for changes. Could be something as simple as a loose connection[s].
