lower ball joint filp

Postby hagasn » Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:54 am

i’ve finally decided to replace my original lower ball joints in my 1991 2WD pickup. i have read if you reinstall the ball joint on top of the lower control arm you can lower the the truck an inch. what are your thoughts on this mod, is it safe, will i need an alignment? drop spindles stick the tires out an inch and are expensive so this isn’t an option. thanks drive safe
i am the original owner of a 1991 isuzu 2WD pickup. the rebuilt motor was bored .040 over with a Calmini camshaft and gemini turbo kit with intercooler. power to the wheels is handled by a centerforce gold clutch.
