I have a '95 Isuzu Pickup and a '94 Trooper. The troopers oil pump went a couple years ago and has been sitting ever since. I'd like to take the V6 out of the trooper and put it in the Pickup. I know that anything's possible but I was looking for maybe a little advice as to what to look out for or some pre-swap options I should be looking at.

My pickup is the 2.6L but it's just not enough power coming out of the 4 banger. When the trooper was running I could do donuts with it (I tried this in a small field and not on pavement, but you get the point, enough power to have fun with); that's what I'd like for the pickup. My ultimate plan is to have it supension lifted 4-6", full exhaust upgrade, tint, lights, 30"+ tires, powder coating the stock aluminum rims, and paint.

With this possible engine swap should I be swapping out the tranny, clutch system, or anything else with it? Again, any advice is well appreciated, thanks!

I also have to patch holes in the frame of the pickup. Welding plates over the holes is the only way I've heard to fix this problem. Any advice?

Pull the exhaust manifold, turbo, and coolant lines off of a Turbo Isuzu Impulse, and turbo the 2.6... Get the power you want, lol. Manifold is a direct bolt on to the 2.6 head.
