Pup dash pad

Post by guslevy »

is it possible to re-cover a dash pad ?
can an upholster shop do it ? or try my luck and find a nice blue one somewhere ?
Mine has a crack in the middle of it from the AZ sun I guess

In my opinion, the blue ones are the worse about cracking. I had a yellow/gold colored dash and it was pretty bad too. The color that I've seen hold up the best seemed to be the brown ones. No, I don't believe new ones are available anywhere. You may get lucky and find a dash mat-like cover.

Dash designs makes a very good fitting dash mat. It’s not carpet. Looks good. Also I saw a video on FB where some place did like a vacuum covering over the dash. Made it look brand new

Please share pics of any good options you find. This topic comes up often, and it's really unfortunate that good ones are so rare.
