Awesome project! I have a similar one that I hope I can finish as nicely as yours. Your posts have been very helpful. Especially since I am starting a diesel conversion on my gas trooper.

Thanks! Matt

hi all.
i am writing form Dominican Republic. i have an Isuzu Bighorn Lotus edition 2000, originally right hand drive and converted to Left hand on my country. I have read completely your post about super trooper restoration and there is the only place where i found something close to clarify my problem.
i little history:
i get this truck on April 2018 with and 4JG2 engine and an AW30-40LE transmission, engine was bad and RHD to LHD was already done. i repaired the engine and installed, but glow plugs did not work at all. trying to solve the glow plugs issue i found a disaster in the electrical harness due the conversion.
The truck has an ECU and TCM, I tried to eliminated the ECU but never found an Pin out of it, so i put it back again. solved the glow plug issue installing an glow plug controller from another trooper in a junk place. so engine is running fine finally.
Now my issue is to make work the transmission and the RPM sensor.
I know you have a lot of work done, doing reversed engineering to make it work, so can you please provided to me the red lines and the modifications than you did to make it work. I am falling into a desperation, because at some moment transmission do not make the changes, or change from 4 to 3 at 120KM/H, i know that is an electrical problem.

sorry for the long history.

Emil
